Anzalone Doubles

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

On the river of a {J-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {4-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {A-Hearts} board, Clavio Anzalone checked and then check-raised all in to the 5,000 pot-sized bet of Brian Altman. The American called off with {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs} after the clock was called on him but Anzalone had {K-Spades} {10-Diamonds} for the straight to double up.

The Next Four Seat Open

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Julian Thomas had already lost more than half his stack when he was forced to fold on a queen-high turn and then three-bet with {8-} {6-}. Abou Saleh Elias only called with pocket jacks and the German shoved the {5-} {7-} {10-} {X-} turn for 1.5 times the pot with his open ended straight draw. The overpair of the Lebanese held up after a blank on the river.

Moneymaker With the Check-Raise

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Three players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Spades} with Chris Moneymaker in the small blind. A bet of 850 from the player on the button saw Moneymaker spring the check-raise to 2,300 and two quick folds. Pot to the legend.

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante
Sebastian Pauli
Sebastian Pauli

Sebastian Pauli tangled in a pot with Johnny Lodden a few moments ago.

Pauli had called a bet on the flop and reached the turn of a board reading {3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

Lodden asked to see how muck Pauli had behind and it was 11,350. Lodden bet 2,750 but folded to a shove from Pauli.

Just a Four-Bet

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Fedor Holz opened and then four-bet to 3,900 when Yann Dion three-bet out of the small blind. The Canadian tossed in a blue T-5,000 chip for the call and then both checked down the {3-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {5-Spades} {9-Hearts} board. Dion showed {A-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} and won the pot to recover some early losses.

Pobal Folds a Straight

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

EPT Barcelona champion Mikalai Pobal just received quite some damage to his stack after raising the {2-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {J-Spades} turn from 1,900 to 6,400. His opponent moved all in and Pobal threw {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} into the muck.

Panka's Bluff Fails

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Despite being caught with the fingers in the cookie jar in the last hand, 2014 PCA champion Dominik Panka is off to a good start. On the {3-Clubs} {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} {4-Spades} turn, Panka called a bet of 600 by Ilkin Amirov in a battle of the blinds and then raised the {4-Hearts} river from 700 to 1,800. Amirov ended up calling with {3-Diamonds} {3-Spades} and Panka was forced to show the {9-Clubs} {2-Clubs}.

Huni is Getting Big again

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Early today we reported that Chris Hunichen had a bad start by losing some chips against a turned full house, but the American has since become very active at his table. One hand saw him taking down a pot with {A-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} on the river of a {6-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {9-Diamonds} board and then "Big Huni" was involved in another three-bet pot to the {10-Spades} {K-Spades} {6-Clubs} flop. The American took down the hand with a bet of 1,350 on the {10-Hearts} turn.
