Panyak Folds Aces; Roca Wins with Quads

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

In the very last hand before the break, a three-way pot evolved and the action was checked to Mayu Roca on the button on the turn of a {2-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} board. Roca bet 3,600 and was called by Eli El Feghali in the big blind as well as Maxim Panyak in early position.

The {J-Diamonds} on the river saw the action again checked to Roca and he bet 11,800, El Feghali tanked more than four minutes in the think tank and then called. Panyak snap-folded {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} behind and Roca showed {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} for quads.

Altman Hits the Heights

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Martin Kabrhel bet 5,100 in to a pot of around 18,000 on the turn of a board reading {8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Brian Altman wanted to know how much he had behind. The answer was 11,000. Altman made the call and they went to the river card {7-Clubs}.

Kabrhel picked up his remaining chips and let them drop one hand to the other a few times as he weighed up the situation, giving Altman a long hard look. Altman returned the stare. Kabrhel had a last look at his hole cards and checked. Altman checked behind and the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts} of Kabrhel was no match for the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of Altman.

Kabrhel was left nursing his stack but Altman shot over the 100k mark.

PokerStars online qualifier Jaroslaw Sikora of Poland was all in and at risk on the river of a {A-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {2-Hearts} board and was looked up by Tibor Nagygyorgy for his last 8,000 chips. The {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} of Sikora would find their way into the muck, as Nagygyorgy had completed a back door flush with {Q-Hearts} {K-Hearts} to claim the pot.
