Davidi Kitai has joined the record breaking field and is sitting at Vanessa Selbst’s table. He was soon involved in a hand with her.

and Selbst, in the big blind, checked it over to Kitai who bet 500. A check-raise to 3,200 from Selbst however saw Kitai let it go.
The action started with Abdurrahman Arslan limping in from under the gun. Wataru Kosugi then raised it up to 600 from middle position before Nikolay Prokhorskiy bumped it up to 1,700 from the small blind. Alexandre Gomes was on the big blind and raised it up once more to 4,200 which prompted Arslan to move all in for 5,875 in chips.
Kosugi mucked his hand before Prokhorskiy reached for his chips and made the quick call.
“Can I raise?” asked Gomes, who was wondering about his options. He was informed by the dealer that he could not, and completed the call.
The flop came 
and both Prokhorskiy and Gomes checked. When the dealer revealed the 
on the turn, Prokhorskiy led out for 4,000 and Gomes called.
The 
completed the board and Prokhorskiy reached for his chips and threw out 6,500. Gomes then thought for a minute before raising it up to 16,300 which caught Prokhorskiy off guard. He made the call and was relieved when Gomes just mucked his hand.
Prokhorskiy then tabled his 
for a full house which was good enough to take down the pot. Arslan rolled over his 
for two pair before exiting the tournament floor.
With 342 entries yesterday and at least 670 entries today according to the screens, the record in terms of attendance has once again been set. The 2014 EPT Prague Main Event now has at least 1,012 entries, eclipsing the 1,007 of last year in the middle of level three on Day 1b.
Tournament poker can be a fickle mistress. We’ve spotted a few well known players who have around half their starting stack after two levels of play.
One of them is Dennis Phillips, who finished 3rd in the 2008 WSOP Main Event, got a little back in a recent hand.
Phillips opened for 450 and picked up one caller in the big blind. The flop was 
and a 700 continuation bet from Phillips was called. The turn

was checked and Phillips turned over his 
one pair not looking like he expected to win the pot, but win it he did.
Ari Engel however is going on the opposite direction having nearly doubled his starting stack.
Niels van Leeuwen has already won two side events at European Poker Tour events, winning a €1,000 event in Berlin in 2012 (€40,000) and a €1,000 FPS during Deauville at the beginning of the year (€175,000). He also won the first ever WPT-N in Valkenburg, The Netherlands not too long ago, and finished 4th in a €1,000 Master Classics of Poker event last month (€9,632).
He has $418,185 in live tournament earnings, but never cashed in an EPT Main Event. He's trying to change that here this week in Prague, and is doing so with a remarkable half beard. Yeah that's right, he has half a beard.

Imagine you get one or two Pros on the starting table of a major tournament and then you get Andreas Berggren, Martin Jacobson, Dennis Phillips, Jason Wheeler and Joey Weissman seated. Fortunately for them, table 73 will most likely be one of the first to break as soon as the bustouts keep coming in.
