Kugler Scores a Double Knockout

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

There was commotion on the tournament floor as George Dimopolos moved all in blind from under the gun for 5,500 and a player called in middle position as Shaun Kugler also called.

Jasen Wittuhn then moved all in for 17,300 from the button as action got back to the first caller. The dealer began making change and putting together a side pot before that player, who declined to give his name to PokerNews, grew irate and tried to help the dealer hurry things along.

"At least I'll remember this hand forever!" Wittuhn said amidst the extended ordeal.

The player then made a crying call and Kugler called behind him. They checked down the board of 96436 as Kugler showed JJ to score a double knockout against the respective A10 and A9 of Dimopolos and Wittuhn. The fourth player did not show his hand.

A player in early position opened to 1,200 and the cutoff three-bet jammed a stack of around 10,000. Marion Massmann then called on the button as the initial raiser got out of the way.

Cutoff: AQ All in
Marion Massmann: 1010

The flip went Massmann's way as the board ran out 97263 to earn the 2025 FPN Desert Dash-for-Cash National Championship winner a double up.
