Ramos Eliminated by "VekRex"

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Ramos vs Vekrex
Ramos vs Vekrex

Felipe Ramos jammed for 63,356 and was called by "VekRex" out of the small blind, "Ssalahhh" also came along out of the big blind. On the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, "VekRex" bet 66,683 and that isolated successfully.

"VekRex": {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Felipe Ramos: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Ramos needed running cards to survive and was drawing dead on the {2-Spades} turn, making the {8-Hearts} river a formality.

The Next Ramos Falls

Level 21 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

In a three-bet pot for 77,000 each to the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop, "jbubb901" checked their option in the cutoff and Dennys Ramos checked behind on the button. "jbubb901" led the {3-Clubs} turn for 60,720 and earned a call to lead the {7-Spades} river for 305,440.

Ramos only had 214,512 behind and called all-in with the {q-Spades}{10-Clubs} for top pair. "jbubb901" had that crushed with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and that spelled the end for Ramos.

Peters Above a Million

Level 21 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

David Peters was involved on all streets on a board of {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}. He called 21,000 on the flop, bet the turn for 102,000 and led the river for 263,250. "iownumind" check-called the turn and check-folded the river.

Alexander "ShtukShtront" Schiff then forced a fold from Jargo Alavali and Daniel "zafjekis" Reijmer did so in the next hand when taking on Rui Ferreira. On the {5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Reijmer check-raised to 74,822 to earn a call and the {8-Spades} turn was checked. Reijmer bet the {j-Diamonds} river for 145,463 and Ferreira tank-folded.

Haxton Wins With a Mighty Pair

Level 21 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Nick Petrangelo limped the small blind and Isaac Haxton checked in the big blind. On the {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, Petrangelo check-called a min-bet and the {a-Clubs} turn was checked. On the {q-Hearts} river, Petrangelo bet 54,600 and Haxton called with {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for a pair of fives. That was good, as Petrangelo had missed entirely with the {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Foxen Doubles Matakis; Busts Soon After

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Foxen vs Matakis
Foxen vs Matakis

AT the end of the previous level, Alex Foxen raised to 30,800 and picked up two callers including Ian "potamophobia" Matakis. On the {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Daniel "zafjekis" Reijmer check-folded to a bet worth 33,600 by Foxen and a call by Matakis.

Foxen led the {8-Hearts} turn for 1000,800 to earn a call and ripped it in after the {q-Diamonds} river. Matakis called for 274,153 with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Foxen's {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} left him with dust.

Foxen survived one all-in and was then all-in preflop once more. Alexander "ShtukShtront" Schiff and Jargo Alavali played for the side pot and Schiff bet the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop for 24,419. The {7-Spades} turn and {6-Clubs} river were checked to see Shiff turn over {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Alavali had that beat with {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Foxen found no miracle with the {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.
