Katie Swift
Katie Swift

Katie Swift has had a good start to the day, already notching one elimination from the Main Event.

Swift limped on the button and T. L. from the small blind checked before C. D. made it 700 from the big blind. Only Swift called.

Both players checked the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop to bring in the {2-Diamonds} turn. C. D. check-raised to 5,000 after Swift bet 1,000. Swift then moved-all-in and her opponent called.

C. D.: {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Katie Swift: {4-Spades}{2-Spades}

The {10-Clubs} fell on the river and Swift scooped the pot and sealed the elimination after C. D. failed to hit their open-ended straight draw.

Dyer Eliminates Grafton

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Sam Grafton's seat was vacant and Grosvenor Pro Jamie Nixon relayed the action. Nixon opened to 900 before Grafton three-bet to 2,000. Eamonn Dyer called from the button and Nixon also called.

The flop came {9-}{7-}{5-}, with Nixon check-folding after Grafton moved all-in and was called by Dyer.

Dyer had flopped a set of fives while Grafton had pocket queens. Dyer filled up on the {9-} turn and sealed the checkmark on the {8-} river.

Dyer then remarked that he went on a little sunrun, knocking out another two opponents. The first KO saw his pocket sixes beat an opponents pocket queens. A few moments later, Dyer would have a pair of queens himself which held against a table-mates ace-king.

Antoine Labat
Antoine Labat

Antoine Labat moved all-in for his last 2,000 from middle positon. Conor Heelis made it 5,000 from the cutoff before Alan Carr moved all-in for just over 25,000. Heelis folded and Labat was at risk of busting the Main Event.

Antoine Labat: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Alan Carr: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Labat found hope on the {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, the {2-Hearts} turn was a safe card but Carr paired up on the {a-Diamonds} river to scoop the pot.

As Labat made his exit, so did Mark Gardner. He was all-in against Yudhishter Jaswal who had flopped a three-of-a-kind with his {6-Spades}{5-Spades}. Gardner did not show his cards and left the tournament area.
