Goodrich Takes Pflum to Valuetown

Level 9 : 400/800, 75 ante

Jeff Goodrich opened to 2,500 from under the gun, Richard Pflum called from the button and Brandon Wetzel called from the big blind. The flop came {4-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Wetzel checked. Goodrich bet 3,500, Pflum called and Wetzel folded. The turn was the {5-Spades} and Goodrich bet 4,500. Pflum called and they saw the {8-Spades} fall on the river.

Goodrich again threw out 4,500 and again Pflum called, tabling {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Goodrich had him outkicked with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, though and the players are going in opposite directions.

Hahn Picks Off Parker

Level 9 : 400/800, 75 ante

Ryan Parker limped from middle position as did the player in the cutoff. Michael Hahn raised to 3,800 from the small blind and only Parker made the call. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Hahn check-called a bet of 7,000. The {4-Clubs} turn brought two checks and the {2-Clubs} fell on the river.

Hahn checked and Parker bet 6,000. Hahn made the call and Parker turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Big slick was not enough to beat the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} of Hahn, however, and he gathered the pot.

Lushin Stacking

Level 8 : 300/600, 50 ante

Matt Lushin has been methodically building a stack and just busted an unlucky player. Lushin's {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} bested the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} of his opponent after the board ran out {3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Wallace Takes One

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

We picked up the action after a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Aaron Wallace led for 2,500 and received one caller. The turn was the {a-Hearts} and Wallace continued for 4,500. His opponent called and the {5-Diamonds} on the river brought an all-in bet from Wallace, having his opponent covered at around 10,000.

Wallace's opponent would let it go and Wallace is trying to follow up his PLO bracelet at this past year's WSOP with a deep hold'em run.

Rockets Red Glare

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

We picked up the action with a completed board of {5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and over 15,000 in the middle. Sean Loring put his opponent to the test with a bet of 11,075. His opponent thought for a moment and eventually said "you can have it" as he folded {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} face up.

Loring calmly raked in his chips and slid his cards to the dealer.
