Pflum Flops Huge and Stacks Big

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

We didn't catch all of the action, but Richard Pflum held king-ten and flopped Broadway. The hand held against the ace-queen of his opponent and the huge pot gave Pflum a formidable stack here in the middle of Day 1a.

Harding Neils to Wetzel

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

We caught the heads-up action between Neil Harding and Brandon Wetzel after a flop of {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Harding check-called a bet of 4,400 from Wetzel. The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Harding checked. Wetzel continued the pressure with a bet of 8,400 and Harding sent his cards to the muck.

Skipping the Small Talk

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

We picked up the action with the board reading {q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Skip Wilson bet 1,200. His opponent raised to 4,100 and the {5-Clubs} fell on the river. Wilson check-called his opponent's bet of 3,000 and turned over {q-Spades}{j-Spades}. Two pair was good and Wilson rolled it over to the next two hands, where he took some more chips from his opponents and he's sitting healthy.

Harding Gets Back into the Thick

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Neil Harding raised to 800 from under the gun and received four callers. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Harding led for 1,100. Only one opponent called and the {6-Hearts} fell on the turn. Harding's bet of 2,050 was met with an all-in raise by his opponent. Harding quickly called and tabled {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

He was well ahead of his opponent's {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and faded any river trouble when the {7-Clubs} came.

Big Slick Kick

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

A player opened to 850 from early position and Jerry Pachciarz three-bet to 2,100 from middle position. Action folded back to the original bettor and he made the call. The flop came {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades} and the opponent check-called a bet of 3,000 from Pachciarz. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and this time Pachiarz's opponent took the lead, firing 3,000. Pachiarz called and the {5-Spades} river brough two checks.

Pachiarz: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Opponent: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Pachiarz kicked him out and dragged the pot.
