The player under the gun opened for 250 and Nick Guagenti followed another opponent with a call from the small blind. The flop came and all three players checked. The turn brought the and Guagenti led for 575, which was met with a call from the original raiser.

Welcome to Day 1a of the main event for the first stop on this season’s Hollywood Poker Open Regional Tour. The Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg is the host to kick off season 4 of the series, which will culminate with the $500,000 guaranteed championship event next June at the M Resort in Las Vegas.
Friday marks the first of two Day one flights with a $1,115 buy-in. Last year’s Lawrenceburg stop drew 207 entrants and Jesse McEuen walked away with the win and nearly $50,000.
Hollywood Poker ambassador Chris Moneymaker is expected to enter the field, as will scores of other runners at the popular Cincinnati-area venue.
