Going Into the Break, Pupillo Doubles

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Nick Pupillo was heads up on a hand that went well into the break. He was facing an all in bet, that would put him at risk should he call.

The board read {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Pupillo seemed uncertain. After about two minutes, Pupillo flicked in one chip to call. He was pleased to see his opponent show {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Pupillo doubled up with {a-}{k-}.

Norris, Like Chuck Norris

Level 9 : 400/800, 75 ante

Bryan Norris won a pot after going runner-runner to a flush and got paid off on the river.

He raised preflop and was called by both players in the blinds. The flop came {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and the small blind checked.

The big blind led out 3,500 and Norris and the small blind both called.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and the action checked to Norris this time. He bet 6,600 and the small blind folded. The big blind called and the two players were heads up to the river.

The river was the {k-Clubs} and the big blind checked to Norris. He bet 10,000 and the big blind called. Norris turned over a club flush, with {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

The Way You Do the Things Sadou

Level 9 : 400/800, 75 ante

Firas Sadou is having a good time. He is chatting with the table and can constantly be heard laughing or making a joke. On this hand, Mike Eversole opened for 3,500 preflop and Sadou shoved all in.

He had been collecting all the green chips for the color up, so he made sure to slide out the rack of chips.

"A loooot of chip," he said.

Eversole asked for a count and when the dealer was about halfway through counting it, he called.

Eversole had {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} against the pocket eights of Sadou.

The board ran out {6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts}, giving Eversole a brief moment in the lead, before giving Sadou a straight on the turn.

"Now we can play poker," said Sadou, "some of that three-bet, four-bet sh**."

Xu Doubles

Level 9 : 400/800, 75 ante
Jinghao Xu at risk, Doubles Up
Jinghao Xu at risk, Doubles Up

Jinghao Xu took a hit when he lost an all in and doubled up Steve Clark. On this hand, Xu is the one at risk and he got one caller.

Xu had {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and hit a queen on the flop to stay alive against {a-}{10-}. Xu is a very active player, so it wouldn't be too unusual for him to shoot up into the chip lead if his aggression is matched with some run good.
