Shin Climbing

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Mike Shin opened for 3,600 in middle position and played against the big blind on {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. The big blind check-called 4,000 and then led out 5,000 on the {3-Clubs} turn. Shin called and then called 7,000 more on the {k-Hearts} river.

The big blind showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} but Shin had it equaled, showing he'd missed a freeroll with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

Shin had been grinding around the starting stack the whole day but he now has north of 130,000.

Schutten Brings Four-Bet Thunder

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Brek Schutten opened for 3,600 in the hijack and got one caller. Rob Wazwaz made it 15,000 out of the small blind and Schutten didn't need long before firing in 35,000. The squeezed player mucked and Wazwaz counted down his stack and then followed him.

Campbell Can't Get There

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Andrew Campbell
Andrew Campbell

Andrew Campbell got his last 16,100 in preflop with {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and was up against the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} of an opponent who isolated on the button. The {5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} brought nothing for Campbell but the {7-Spades} gave him a flush draw. The {10-Hearts} improved his opponent, however, and Campbell headed for the door.
