Sloan Bets the River

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Mike Sloan, in middle position, limp-called an 1,100 preflop raise from the player in the hijack.

He then check-called the 900 continuation bet on the {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop.

After both players checked the {3-Diamonds} turn, Sloan then led out for 2,000 on the {j-Hearts} river, which got the hijack to fold his hand and the dealer to push the pot to Sloan.

Parrish Scoops a Big One

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Kyle Parrish raised to 800 from UTG+1, and it folded around to the big blind who made the call.

The big blind checked the {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop, and then check-raised to 2,400 after the 900 continuation bet from Parrish.

Parrish made the call, and again called the 3,600 bet from the big blind on the {3-Clubs} turn.

After the big blind bet 7,200 on the {2-Hearts} river, Parrish raised to 21,300.

The big blind re-checked his cards, counted his stack and then folded, which sent a large pot to Parrish.

"I Flopped a Straight"

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Jason Mangold
Jason Mangold

Three players each committed 1,000 preflop and took a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

Jason Mangold checked from the under-the-gun position and a player in middle position bet 2,000.

Charles Davis called from middle position and Mangold responded with an all-in check-raise for around 40,000.

That did the trick as both his opponents wasted little time in mucking their cards.

Heine Takes from Hankins

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Robert Hankins raised to 800 from middle position and Keith Heine popped it to 2,700 from the hijack. Action folded back to Hankins and he called to see a {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop.

Hankins checked, Heine continued for 3,500, and Hankins folded. Not much of a hand but it gave us a good excuse to update you on their stacks.
