Stroud Eliminated on the Money Bubble

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Randall Myers
Randall Myers

In the very first hand on the money bubble, Kevin Stroud shoved all in for around 90,000 on a board reading {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. He was called by Randall Myers and the players waited for the action to finish on the other tables before revealing their cards.

Randall Myers: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Kevin Stroud: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The river brought the {9-Spades} and Myers held on with his two pair. Stroud stood up from his seat and looked around to see if anyone else busted but unfortunately, he was the only one going home on the money bubble.

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Nick Pupillo
Nick Pupillo

The action folded to Kevin Stroud in the hijack who raised to 15,000 and Nick Pupillo shoved all in for around 35,000 in the cutoff. Stroud made the call after the rest of the table folded and the cards were tabled.

Kevin Stroud: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Nick Pupillo: {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Pupillo needed some help in order to stay alive and the flop of {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} gave him a straight draw. However, the turn and river both bricked off and Pupillo was sent to the exits just before the money bubble.

Shade Leaves the Table in Awe After Sick Cooler

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Angela Shade
Angela Shade

There was a bunch of commotion taking place on Table 53 and rightfully so with the first pot of over 1,000,000 chips taking place. A completed board of {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts} was spread across the board and three players had all of their chips in the middle.

According to the table, Adam Asbury was the shorter stack and all in on the flop. Mike Hahn and Angela Shade played a massive side pot with Hahn being at risk on the turn. Hahn currently had the best hand with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} while Shade tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Asbury was drawing to one out with {6-}{6-}.

The river brought the {a-Hearts} to give each player a full house, but Shade rivered the largest one. Having both of her opponent's covered, Shade scooped all of the chips and is now sitting on a stack of over 1.2 million.

Apter on a Heater

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Brett Apter came into the day with an average chip stack but a hot start to the day quickly changed all of that. Apter was heads-up with John Gravagna on a flop of {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Gravagna checked from early position and Apter bet 20,000 on the button. Gravagna check-raised to 65,000 and Apter called.

The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and Gravagna checked again. Apter counted out a bet of 65,000 and Gravagna took a minute before check-raising all in for 204,000. Apter snapped him off and turned over {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a set of fours. Gravagna was drawing dead with {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and the massive pot was awarded to Apter.
