Spears raised to 12,500, and after a bit of thought the player in early position folded. The hijack followed suit and quickly folded as well, and Spears now has a stack of 100,000.
Nick Pupillo's seat was empty and we inquired as to what happened. According to neighbor Mikey Esquivel, Pupillo opened in the cutoff and then got it in on a flop with against a player with in the big blind. The turn was a king but the river a five and Pupillo hit the rail again to reenter.
Bill Byrnes opened from early position to 2,300 and Hae Yin called from the hijack. The player on the button shoved all in for his last 10,300 and Byrnes folded. Yin made the call and the cards were turned over.

Andy Spears was all in from the cutoff on a flop of . His opponent on his right had already made a significant commitment to the pot with 8,000 while having only 17,000 or so back. That player tanked for over a minute before mucking.
Spears is sitting on just over 100 big blinds as his table has broken for the second time and he heads to find a new one.
Bob Nolen was just eliminated from the tournament. We caught up with a player on his table and found out he was all in for his last chips preflop with versus the of Zinoviy Pelekh. The board ran out , giving Pelekh two pair on the turn to crack Nolen's top pair, top kicker.
Action was joined on the river with the board reading and Iverson Cotton Snuffer had a bet of 11,600 in front of him out of the small blind. His opponent went into the tank and eventually called.
Snuffer tabled for turned trips and collected the pot after his opponent mucked.
On the very next hand, action folded to Snuffer on the button who limped in. Action went three ways to the flop after the small blind completed and the big blind checked, and the flop came . The small blind led out for 1,500, and Snuffer called following a fold from the big blind. The turn brought a and the small blind bet 3,500. After a short wait, Snuffer raised to 8,500. The small blind thought and eventually called. The river was the and both players checked to showdown.
Upon checking back, Snuffer immediately announced two pair and tabled , which was good as his opponent mucked.
On a flop, Brendan Sully was all in from the button for 13,800 and a player in the big blind had called. A third player under the gun ripped over that for about 40,000 more and the big blind snap-called with for a combo draw. Sully held for a set and the third player for top two.
Two black bricks hit: and . Sully dragged a triple up and the player with two pair seemed happy to take the larger side pot.
A player in middle position was all in for 31,200, which looked to be over the size of the pot. The board read and James Pupillo was in the tank on the button.
"You got it, you got it," he finally said, sliding some chips in and tabling .
It was good for the moment against but the dealer delivered a river to complete his opponent's flush draw.
On a four-way flop of with four players and around 7,500 in the pot, both players in the blinds checked and action was on Jason Paff in early position. He bet 3,500 and the hijack raised to 11,000. The turn came and both players checked. The river was the and Paff checked to his opponent, who bet 12,000.
Paff made the call and his opponent tabled for the missed flush draw. Seeing this, Paff turned over for three of a kind and took down the pot.
