It was duos night at Hollywood Casino St. Louis, as 144 entrants took the felt during Event #8: $400 Tag Team. This unique event saw partners switch up seats every 8-20 minutes until the money was reached, at which point stacks were combined.
Nine teams managed to find their way into the money, and after a heads up duel with the team of Robert Keeling and Michael Paladino, it was the team of Mary Sturges and Bradley Beetz that earned the top prize of $3,756 each.

Josh Tucker raised to 1,800 from the cutoff, and was called by Brett Apter on the button, James Eberhardt in the small blind, and Danny Hoeft in the big blind.
Action checked to Tucker on a flop, and he bet 2,100. Apter raised to 6,300, and after Eberhardt folded, Hoeft three-bet shoved for 17,100. Tucker then four-bet jammed, enough to put Apter at risk for his last 43,800 total. Apter tanked for a minute, then called.

It was a three-way battle of draws, but Apter left Hoeft drawing dead when the fell on the turn. Tucker could still hit a non-heart ten or five to earn the double knockout, but the river sent the six-figure pot to the WSOP Bracelet winner Apter.

Non-traditional poker aficionados had something to sink their teeth into here at Hollywood Casino St. Louis this week, as Event #6: $200 7-Game Mix allowed the 64 entrants to play HORSE (Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud, and Stud 8-or-Better) as well as No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha.
The final seven players walked away with a piece of the prize pool, and Jacob Book wound up with the win and $3,378 after besting Craig Welko heads-up.

Christopher Audrain raised to 2,200 from under the gun, and Joseph Brose called in the hijack. Gerald Claunch three-bet shoved for 32,100 from the button, and Mark Koeln called in the small blind. Audrain tanked for a minute before folding, and Brose quickly followed suit.
