2025 Irish Open
With 184 players on the clock and 183 places paid, the tournament will proceed hand-for-hand until the bubble has burst.
Cameron Sinclair and James Noonan had arrived on the 6♥10♥2♠10♠7♥ river, where Sinclair checked from the hijack to Noonan on the button.
Noonan then put Sinclair all-in for 115,000, making Sinclair deliberate for several minutes.
"I really don't know what to do, and your drunken act is not helping things," Sinclair stated to Noonan.
Eventually, the clock was called on Sinclair, and he mucked his cards towards the end of his countdown as Noonan rewareded the fold by showing his J♥9♥ for a flush.
Level: 18
Blinds: 4,000/8,000
Ante: 8,000
Richard Frey raised to 13,000 in middle position and was three-bet to 30,000 by Ian Simpson in the hijack. It folded back to Frey, who put in a call to the 10♥K♣4♣ flop.
Simpson continued for 20,000, which Frey check-called. The 3♥ turn and 5♠ river were checked to showdown, where Frey tabled A♣9♣ for ace-high.
Simpson had also missed his flush with Q♣10♣, but his pair of tens was good enough to rake in the pot as fewer than ten eliminations remained before the money.
Gabriele Lepore open-jammed from the hijack for 85,000 and was called by table chipleader Stanislaw Grodek in the cutoff. The rest of the table got out of the way as the cards hit their backs.
Gabriele Lepore: A♠9♠
Stanislaw Grodek: A♦Q♥
The 3♦8♠J♥5♣2♥ board brought no help for Lepore, eliminating him some 25 spots away from the money.
Tomislav Pavanic had committed his stack of 45,000 from the small blind and was called by Ruairi McLaughlin in early position.
Tomislav Pavanic: 6♦6♣
Ruairi McLaughlin: K♠Q♠
Pavanic stood up as the K♣Q♣9♣ flop appeared but sat back down when he noticed he had a flush draw. The 5♦ turn helped neither player, while the Q♦ river upgraded McLaughlin to a full house, securing the pot.
