Fabian Rolli opened to 80,000 in middle position, seeing Camille Godin call in the hijack. Philip Joyce then put in a three-bet to 320,000 from the cutoff, after which the action folded back to Rolli.
He opted to put in his stack of 2,535,000, covering both opponents. Godin quickly got out of the way, and Joyce eventually followed suit.
"I actually had a really good hand," Joyce stated as the pot was dragged Rolli's way.
Of the 1222 total entrants over the last four days, only 30 remain in Day 3 of the €1,150 Luxon Mystery Bounty here at the 2025 Irish Open. Florian Duta leads the surviving players with a stack of 5,510,000 and will be looking to further add to his chip count when play resumes at 12 p.m. local time at the Royal Dublin Society.
Duta is the only player that has eclipsed the 5,000,000 chip mark, and Terrance Reid sits in second place. The American has a stack of 4,875,000 to unbag when play resumes today. Both players have 138 and 122 big blinds respectively and will be putting them to use to win the top prize €102,600.Nils Pudel rounds off the podium places in third with 3,895,000, good for 97 big blinds.
Jorge Rios claimed the solo six-figure bounty as he pulled an envelope worth €102,600 from the chest. This pull is equal to first place money, and he exclaimed after opening the envelope that he had "already won the tournament."
