Simpson Caught Bluffing
Level 2
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Robert Kiersey opened to 500 in early position, which was met with a raise to 1,900 by Melanie Simpson on the button. The action folded back to Kiersey, who called.
The action checked through on both the 5♦J♦4♦ flop and the 6♠ turn.
The 6♦ completed the board, and when Kiersey checked for a third time, Simpson saw a green light to put some more money in the middle. Her bet of 1,700 was quickly called by Kiersey, who flipped over 9♥9♦. Simpson mucked her cards, and Kiersey pulled in the pot.
