Alban Juen Leads as Money Bubble Approaches
Hello and welcome back to PokerNews' coverage of the inaugural International Stadiums Poker Tour at Wembley Stadium where in less than an hour 411 players will return to the home of English football sharing one common goal — to make it into the money places.
As per the payout structure, 380 players will receive prize money and that means 31 players are going to leave this tournament empty handed with only memories and bad beat stories to tell their friends. One man who has is surely guaranteed to reach the money places is our overall chip leader, Alban Juen. The Frenchman starts Day 3 with 367,500 chips and is a solid bet to progress to Monday's Day 4 where the more serious sums of money will be awarded.
The returning field is full of big names and well-known faces including, Rhys Jones (222,600), Ole Schemion (197,600), Antoine Saout (151,500), Mathew Frankland (150,400), Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott (145,000), Toby Lewis (144,300) Sam Trickett (136,300), and Roberto Romanello (125,000).
The action starts at 12:00 and will continue until nine 60-minute levels are completed. Once we have confirmed payout figures we will publish them, but until then why not check out this interview with British poker legend "The Devilfish."
