Kozub Holds On to His Aces

Tomasz Kozub three-bet to 15,000 in the small blind and Dorel Eldabach called on the button.

The flop came 6♥J♥7♥ and Kozub checked over to Eldabach who bet 11,000. Kozub called to the 6♦ turn and checked again.

Eldabach then bet another 25,000 and Kozub again quickly called. The river came the J♠ and Kozub checked for a third time.

Eldabach then checked back and Kozub turned over A♣A♦8♦4♣ as Eldabach tapped the felt and mucked.

"All in you call," he asked Kozub.

"You can always try it. He would've tanked," tablemate Alex Livingston added.

Tony G and Omar Eljach were both eliminated soon after their blind all in encounter. Eljach has since reentered.

Tony G was standing up from the table conversing with Leon Tsoukernik as the next hand at his table began to be dealt.

"Deal me in. I'm qualified," Tony G said, returning to his seat and posting the big blind.

"Tony G is in the house," Tsoukernik called out.

Action then folded to Omar Eljach in the small blind who moved all in blind. Tony G called off his last 12,500, also without looking.

The flop came Q♠8♥8♣, giving Eljach trip eights. "It's over," Tony G said.

The turn, though, was the Q♥ as Tony G made trip queens. "It's over, for you," he now said heading to the 3♠ river as Tony G doubled up.

Gleissner had top pair but was behind Baptista's two pair until the 7♦ turn improved him a better two pair.

Maximilian Klostermeier and Eelis Parssinen built a pot of around 85,000 heading to the flop of J♥K♦7♦ where both players got the rest of their chips in the middle.

"How about a seven," Parssinen called for as the 5♠ fell on turn, giving Klostermeier two pair. The river, though, gave Parssinen his wish as the dealer turned over the 7♥, improving Parssinen to trips.

Parssinen counted his remaining stack of around 45,000. He barely had Klostermeier covered and sent him to the rail.

Leon Tsoukernik, who quickly built up a stack of more than 300,000 earlier in the day, had an equally rapid downfall and was recently eliminated.

Heads-up on a flop of 4♠5♠2♣, Petr Svoboda led out for 5,000 from the big blind and Quan Zhou called.

The turn came the 8♦ and Svoboda bet 10,000. Zhou again called to the Q♦ river, where Svoboda continued for 25,000.

Zhou didn't quickly call this time, instead burning through a time bank before tossing in the chips. Svoboda shook his head and turned over K♦10♣4♥3♥, while Zhou had 9♥8♠6♦5♦ for two pair to win the pot.

At the same table, Zemir Zuko has built up a massive stack of around 380,000.

Three-handed on a flop of 2♠4♥6♦, Dario Alioto bet 16,000 from the big blind and was called by both John Dawoud in early position and Tomasz Kozub in the cutoff.

The turn came the 7♦ and Alioto slowed down and checked. Dawoud then shoved his entire stack forward, a bet of around 90,000, and Kozub quickly mucked.

Alioto soon joined him in the muck as Dawoud took the pot.
