There are 35 unique players in the event and Alexander Schwarz was eliminated and re-entered immediately after to bring the field up to 36 total entries near the end of level one.
Oswin Ziegelbecker raised to 1,200 and earned two callers including Tim Van Loo out of the blinds. On a 9♥2♣2♦ flop, only Van Loo check-called for 1,400 before they checked down the 4♦ turn and Q♣ river. Van Loo revealed the J♦J♥10♥3♠ and that won the pot.
On a completed board of Q♠J♦9♣5♥2♦, Oleksandr Sadovyi checked from an early position. Thiago Silva De Morgado then bet 6,400 and his opponent quickly called.
Silva De Morgado flipped over the Q♣Q♦7♥4♠ for the top set and Sadovyi took more than ten seconds to check his cards and send them into the muck.
With some 35,000 in the middle to the K♣6♥2♥5♥8♣ river, Bruno Stefanelli checked. Alexander Bachmann tossed in a bet of 25,000 and Stefanelli called after 30 seconds. Bachmann tabled the A♥A♠9♠3♣ for aces with the nut flush blocker and Stefanelli won the pot holding the K♥Q♦10♦7♥ for the third nuts.
Earlier on, Vasileios Chatzilazarou had already potted a flop to force two folds. He was now involved in a four-way pot with 7,100 in the middle to the Q♥J♣9♣ flop. Chatzilazarou fired a pot-sized bet of 28,800 and his three opponents all folded.
There are some 26 players registered and four tables are running so far with these latest players having joined the action.
In three-way action to the A♦K♣7♠ flop, Massimiliano Zanasi bet the pot by tossing in a T-5,000 chip and won the pot uncontested, flashing his A♣K♦ face up.
One hand later, three-way action emerged to the K♣6♣2♠ flop and Dmitrij Fadeev was the only one to check-call a bet worth 3,000 by Fabian Rolli. He did so again for 10,000 on the 9♦ turn and checked the 3♣ river. Rolli now bet just 4,000 and Fadeev called but mucked to the K♠Q♦Q♣9♣ of Rolli.
After a short delay, the first of two starting days is officially underway. The button is in seat eight and the cards are now in the air for all tables with at least three active players.
