Big Triple Up for Carmi

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Eran Carmi and Tomasz Kozub

With around 85,000 in the middle to the QJ7 flop, a three-way all-in emerged with Eran Carmi as the shortest stack involved against Glib Karpov and Thiago Silva De Morgado.

Eran Carmi: QJ109
Glib Karpov: AQ98
Thiago Silva De Morgado: AAJ5

When Silva De Morgado saw the cards of his opponents, he gasped an "oh shit" as he was drawing quite thin.

Carmi was ahead with two pair and a straight draw while Karpov had outs with the gutshot and nut flush draw. Nothing changed with the 4 turn and K river as the stacks were counted. Carmi tripled for 138,100 to soar to the top while Karpov was covered by Silva De Morgado in the much smaller side pot.

"Sometimes you just gotta triple up," Carmi joked with a big smile on the face when raking in the gargantuan pot.

Piatek committed his stack after some 20 seconds to create the following showdown.

Sebastian Piatek: AQ107

Yanovski Takes From Haddad

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Nadjim Haddad check-called a bet by Leonid Yanovski on the K637 turn and then checked the 5 river out of the big blind. Yanovski inquired about the size of the pot and Haddad exclaimed "think well" while the dealer double-checked that it was 19,400 in the middle.

Yanovski then bet 15,000 and Haddad folded his K5 for two pair. "Usually you don't bet the river, so you have it," Haddad exclaimed. Yanovski didn't show any of his cards and raked in the pot while taking advantage of a table massage service.
