In a larger heads-up pot to the Q♣J♦5♠2♥K♣ river, Rafal Plaza bet 25,000. Glib Karpov went deep into the tank and folded.
Oleksandr Sadovyi then opened to 4,300 and received multiple callers. Inaki Gonzales bet the K♣K♠Q♠5♥ turn for 12,000 and the 2♣ river for 25,000. Only Plaza had called both these bets and was good with the A♥Q♦9♦8♣ as Gonzales had an inferior Q♥7♠4♥3♠.

"Why did you not call the sixteen and pot?" Romain Nattaf asked Oleksandr Sadovyi. The former chip leader ended up second-best to Nattaf's J♦9♥7♥2x on the 9♦8♠8♣9♠7♦ river and that caused some banter back and forth.
Sadovyi had an eight and mucked, exclaiming several times how lucky Nattaf was. The next pot also went to Nattaf when he potted preflop and on the J♥6♥6♣ flop, forcing out Sadovyi and Beiyan Yu. That left Sadovyi with a handful of blinds and they vanished soon after.
