Small Pot for Novotny

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Tomas Novotny started in the middle of the pack but never gained any momentum throughout the day so far, now sitting right next to big stack Martin Kabrhel.

Novotny opened to 15,000 for Tim Grau to defend the big blind and they then checked down to the K7238 river. Grau checked again, Novotny bet 20,000 and received no call to win a small pot.

Derkowski Puts in a Big Raise, Then Shows

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 67J, Roman Cieslik bet 40,000 from the small blind before Grzegorz Derkowski on the button raised to 234,000.

Cieslik flung his arms in the air in frustration as he tanked for several minutes. He eventually slammed his cards down on the table and the dealer pulled them into the muck.

Derkowski showed A1010 as he took the pot.

Leonid Yanovski, Mustafa Biz, and Goran Urumovic are also at this table

Joao Estanislau
Joao Estanislau

Blind versus blind, Marek Uharcek and Joao Estanislau went to the 937 flop where Marek Uharcek got his last 79,000 in the middle.

Marek Uharcek: 9765
Joao Estanislau: 10875

Uharcek was ahead with two pair while Estanislau was on a straight draw. The 10 turn gave Estanislau a better two pair and the lead heading to the 4 river, which moved Uharcek back in front with a straight and secured him a double up.

Buettner Loses Two in a Row

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Adolf Buettner bet the K52Q turn for 28,000 and Sebastian Langrock called.

The J river was checked by both players and Buettner shrugged, then flashed just the J. Langrock showed his AKQJ and won the pot.

Seamus Cahill then limped in and Inaki Gonzales raised to 27,000 for Buettner in the big blind and Cahill to call. The AK6 flop saw Gonzales bet the pot for 96,000 when checked to and Buettner called while Cahill folded.

That led to the 5 turn on which Buettner checked again. Gonzales moved all-in and forced a snap-fold.

Oliver Puts a Cooler on Mustafov

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of 9AQ3, Fahredin Mustafov bet 65,000 from the cutoff and Ryan Oliver called in the big blind.

The river came the 4 and Oliver checked to Mustafov again, who fired out another 60,000.

Oliver snap-called and clapped his hands as his AQ86 was enough to send Mustafov's AKJ9 into the muck with a better two pair on the flop.

Di Persio With Big Stack; Perrinjaquet Doubles and Tran Busts

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Thanh Trung Tran
Thanh Trung Tran

Marco Di Persio recalled a hand in which he boosted his stack significantly. According to the Italian, he opened to 15,000 with AKxJ9x and Denis Vladimirov three-bet to 45,000 on the button for Di Persio to call.

He then check-called three barrels for 55,000 on the AxKx9x flop, 145,000 on the 2 turn and 300,000 on the 6 river. Vladimirov showed QxQ87 for air and lost a lot of his chips.

On the neighbouring table, Vasyl Pidhrushnyi showed proof that he had used his one time against Thanh Trung Tran in a preflop all-in. Pidhrushnyi got it in with the AQJ7 on the button and Tran held the KK97 in the cutoff.

The board ran out AK10AA and the roller coaster runout gave Pidhrushnyi quads.

On the same table, Emily Perrinjaquet was all-in for 100,000 with the QQ102 on the KJ9 flop. Benjamin Alacam had the KKJ6 for top set but bricked the 7 turn and 10 river.

Alacam was then all-in preflop, and so was Tran as both were looked up by Thiago Silva De Morgado.

Benjamin Alacam: K1054
Thanh Trung Tran: AK106
Thiago Silva De Morgado: 9864

The 8767J board gave Alacam a straight for the triple up while Tran was eliminated in the side pot.

Mustafa Biz
Mustafa Biz

Three ways to the QJ5 flop, Vasileios Chatzilazarou and Fabian Riebau-Schmithals checked. Only the former then called a bet worth 75,000 by Mustafa Biz and jammed the 4 turn, Biz called for the 140,000 he had behind.

Mustafa Biz: JJ109
Vasileios Chatzilazarou: KK32

Chatzilazarou had straight and flush outs at his disposal but the 5 river only improved Biz to a full house.
