August Schlegl
August Schlegl

Shenghe Yang and Juergen Pollack had just played a pot at this table where Pollack shoved for 253,000 on the flop and Yang called, but both players finished with kings and fours to split the pot.

Shortly afterward, August Schlegl and Holger Jakubowski went to the turn on a board of 945K where Schlegl bet 50,000 in the small blind. Jakubowski then moved all in for 213,000 in middle position and Schlegl called with QJ109.

Jakubowski had AKK2 for a set, but the Q river gave Schlegl a straight and the bustout.

"Bye, bye," Jakubowski said to the table as he made his exit.

Eljach Forces Everyone Out, Busts Pettas

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Angelos Pettas was down to 7,000 and moved all in on a flop of Q72. Hoss Parhizkar called in the cutoff, as did button Samuel Albeck, before Omar Eljach raised to 55,000 in the big blind.

"Good luck in the 1K," Dominik Paus joked with Pettas, who was already standing up from his seat as both Albeck and Parhizkar called.

The turn came the 5 and Eljach bet another 250,000. Parhizkar quickly folded, but Albeck tanked for about a minute before joining him in the muck.

"Let's show two cards at a time," Pettas said as he showed K10. Eljach turned over KQ65 for two pair and Pettas exposed his J9.

The river came the 3 and Pettas was sent to the rail.

"You won, why are you doing that ..." Rehman said before heading out of the tournament area.

"Nice hand, both of you guys. That was massive," Oliver added.
