Veronica Dabul Eliminated

Veronica Dabul - Eliminated
Veronica Dabul - Eliminated
Under the gun, big stack Gylbert Drolet raised to 22,000. Veronica Dabul was next, and she moved all in for 51,500. Next to her, Juan Jose Perez moved all in himself, prompting Drolet to fold.

Perez turned his {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} over first, and Dabul sheepishly tabled her {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades}. She was well behind, and all in for her tournament life.

The dealer spread out the board: {8-Spades} {9-Spades} {2-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {7-Clubs}, providing no lifeline for Dabul. She got a farewell kiss on the cheek from Perez and made here way to the rail.

Redraw

With the last string of eliminations, we are now down to just 15 players. The remaining entrants have been combined into the last two tables following a redraw. After seven more players go broke, our final table will be set and play will conclude for the evening.

Drolet Doubles One Up

Under the gun, Alex Brenes opens with a raise to 16,000. Next to him, Gylbert Drolet makes the call, and the betting passes around to Ferrero Fulvio in the cutoff seat. He moves all in for 98,000, enough to get Brenes out of the way.

Drolet, though, is not so quick. He sits pensively for several moments before saying, "I think you have ace-king...You moved in so fast...Yes, you have ace-king. I call."

He is wrong. Fulvio tables {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and sees that he has Drolet's {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} well dominated. The dealer runs the board {6-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {7-Spades}, and Fulvio catches a double-up courtesy of big stack Gylbert Drolet.

Rosamelia Ferreira Eliminated

From early position, Gylbert Drolet raised to 22,000. The next three players folded, but Rosamelia Ferreira looked down at her cards and announced, "All in," moving forward her 150,000 chips. Drolet took a minute, trying to ask the Brazilian woman questions in English -- to no avail. Finally, he made the call.

Drolet: {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}
Ferreira: {J-Spades} {Q-Hearts}

The {J-Hearts} came right in the door, but the {A-Clubs} and {9-Hearts} also hit the flop. The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} and the river was the {5-Diamonds}. With no further help from the board, Rosamelia Ferreira was eliminated in 14th place. She will earn $9,360 for her work over the past two days.

Last Woman Standing

With the elimination of Rosamelia Ferreira, not only are we down to 13 players, but only one of them is a woman.

Vanessa Rousso has withstood some intense pressure and emotional swings today, and she finds herself still well in contention for the title as we draw ever nearer to the final table.

Juan Jose Perez Doubles His Pleasure

Jose Ramon Ponce Mohamed - Eliminated
Jose Ramon Ponce Mohamed - Eliminated
In early position, Juan Jose Perez raises the bet to 16,000. Coming around to the small blind, Jose Ramon Ponce Mohamed makes the call. Next to act is Ferrero Fulvio, and he moves all in with his short stack, just 24,000 total. Both opponents call, and it's three-handed to the flop.

It brings {4-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}. Instantly, Mohamed moves all in for just about 14,000, and Perez quickly calls. With all the betting action complete, and two players at risk, the hands are turned up:

Mohamed: {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}
Fulvio: {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts}
Perez: {A-Spades} {8-Spades}

Jose Ramon Ponce Mohamed is poised to triple up, but the {A-Clubs} drills the turn, leaving him and Fulvio both drawing slim. The {Q-Hearts} on the river locks it up for Perez, and he knocks out two players with his two pair, aces and eights.

Following those eliminations, we have just ten players left.

Vanessa Rousso Eliminated

Vanessa Rousso - Eliminated
Vanessa Rousso - Eliminated
We are unable to gain access to the featured table area, but we can see that Vanessa Rousso has just been eliminated. She held {9-?} {9-?} and was all in preflop for about 230,000. She was called down by Jose Miguel Espinar holding {A-?} {A-?}.

The board failed to provide salvation for Rousso, and she is knocked out in 10th place.

Hand for Hand

We are now down to our final nine players, and apparently there was a discrepancy with the tournament information. The staff has informed us that the final table only has eight hole-card cameras, so we're going to play on until we lose one more.

In this unusual configuration, we have one five-handed table and one four-handed table remaining. The tournament is being dealt hand for hand.
