Our first all-in-and-call situation of the day which happened moments ago resulted in a chop.

Darren Keyes opened the pot with a raise from middle position, making it 58,000 to go. Action then folded around the table to Rogelio Pardo in the big blind who kicked it up to 218,000. Keyes hesitated for no more than a minute before announcing all in. Pardo snap-called the bet and both players smiled when they saw each other's cards:

Keyes:

Though a chop in this situation is the overwhelming favorite, it wouldn't be poker without the mandatory sweat.

Surely Keyes' heartbeat sped up a few BPM as the board filled out {6-Hearts}

by the turn, but the {A-Spades}

on the river cemented a chop.

Bergren Takes One from Giron

Bergren increases his chip lead with that pot

Sol Bergren raised preflop and Carlos Giron called from the big blind. Bergren was in the hijack seat and Giron in the big blind.

After the flop came down {K-Hearts}

, Giron led with a bet of 43,000. Bergren took a minute, double checked his hole cards and then popped in a raise to 200,000 flat. Giron folded.

Bergren is up to 1.42 million and Giron dropped to 311,000.

Bouchard Moves In

Carlos Giron limped under the gun before Sol Bergren raised to 60,000 from the cutoff seat. Francis-Nicolas Bouchard was in the small blind and moved all in for approximately 450,000. Giron folded and then Bergren folded. Bouchard is now up to about 630,000.
