Mare Triples

Maria "Maridu" Mayrinck opened with a raise to 12,000. The button, Eduardo Hernandez, made the call before the player in the big blind, Daniel Fernando De Mare, moved all in. Both Maridu and Hernandez made the call.

The flop came down {8-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {6-Spades}. Maridu checked and Hernandez bet 12,000. Maridu folded, leaving just Mare and Hernandez heads up. Hernandez had flopped a set of eights while Mare held {A-Spades} {10-Spades}.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and the river the {Q-Spades}, giving mare his flush and tripling him up.

Alexandre Gomes Eliminated in 30th Place ($4,082)

On the river of a hand between the small blind Clay Maguire and the big blind Alexandre Gomes, the board read {J-Spades} {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}. Maguire fired 21,500 into the member of Team PokerStars PRO Brazil. Gomes then moved all in and was immediately called by Maguire.

Maguire tabled {10-Spades} {8-Diamonds} for a straight and Gomes nodded his head. Gomes did turn over {9-Spades} {6-Hearts} for a rivered two pair, but was sent to the rail as the first one out on Day 3.

Now only Maria "Maridu" Mayrinck remains representing Team PokerStars PRO.

Maguire Adding Some Chips

Rory Graham raised to 12,500 from middle position before Edgar Cruz called from the hijack seat. Action folded around to Clay Maguire in the big blind. He squeezed in a raise to 37,000, sending the pressure back over to Graham. Graham double checked his hole cards before mucking and Cruz followed suit. Maguire is now up to 220,000.
