Carter Gill is up to 36,500 after a hand that evolved nicely for him. He and two others saw a

flop where Gill led for 1,000. Only the big blind called to see the
turn where he check-called a 2,000 bet from Gill. The river came
and Gill bet 4,000. Call. Gill tabled
for the second nut flush. The big folded and the American raked in the pot whilst saying “Nice flop, nice turn and pretty good river”.

Jonathan Crute might consider himself a little lucky after picking up four flush on the river but he was too busy thinking how his opponent on the button had misplayed his Kings. Crute had picked up pocket sevens in the big blind and had peeled a flop after an early position raise and a flat call on the button (Kings). All three players checked the

flop before Crute led the
turn for 2,175 and called the raise to 6,000 (from top set no less). The
completed the flush and both players checked with Crute raking in the pot with
taking him up to 24,000.
Jose "Nacho" Barbero has joined the table containing Maria "Maridu" Mayrinck and Christian De Leòn to almost make it a Team PokerStars sponsored table. Their fortunes are the opposite of the geographical positions of the counties they are from with the exception of Mayrinck. Barbero from Argentina (most southerly of the three) has the biggest stack with 34,000. Mayrinck from Brazil is right in the middle with 23,000. De Leon from Mexico might have the Northern most nation of the three but his stack is representing Antarctica at the moment with just 5,000 in front of him.
Marty Mathis continued his revitalisation with a shove that puts him up to 24,000 - quite possibly the first time he’s been over his starting stack all day.
The American had started the action off with a min-raise from early position before picking up a small raise and call behind him. Mathis made the call before leading the

flop for 3,400 into a 5k pot. It was enough to fold out the three-bettor but not enough to flick away the local grinder who made the call. A
on the turn brought an ugly gutshot and Mathis shoved his remaining 11,175 into the middle and scooped the pot unopposed. He told us afterwards that he had flopped top two.
Aaron Lerner has the cut of a frustrated man right now. His stack is down to 22,000 and a very small part of that is due to a pot he just lost. There was an early position raise to 800 that he alone called from the small blind. The flop came

and Lerner check-folded to a 750 c-bet. He sat there after shaking his head.
Meanwhile Michael Piper is going along steadily with just under 50,000 and Luis Carlos Hernandez’s equity in this tournament has risen even more as he has 85,000 right now.
Dennis Phillips has doubled back up to 8,000 after being gifted a call with
to his
. Phillips had shoved from the small blind for 3,800 after a couple of limps. One middle position limpet didn't want to let go though. Whether it was because they wanted to claim a big name scalp or they thought they were getting a good price on their ace don't know, but what we do is that they called. When the board ran out

Phillips said with a happy shrug, 'The hand played itself.' We're guessing he was talking about his own hand.
Local boy Nicolas Garcia has just doubled-up, to his delight, through PokerStars qualifier Raul Manzano. Alex Brenes opened proceedings with a raise to 900 from UTG before Garcia and Manzano moved all-in one after the other from late position. Brenes thought for a while but let his hand to.
Garcia:

Manzano:

Garcia was in bad shape but got out of it on the

board. He’s up to 16,000 now, whereas Manzano is down to 24,000.
And by that we don't mean that everyone folded to him in the big blind. Unfortunately for Akkari the Team PokerStars Pro never really got started and the break didn't seem to do him many favours either. See saw the Brazilian knuckle the table before walking to the rail.
I can see cards being dealt so am totally sure level five had begun.
Players are back in their seats and level five us underway.
EDIT:
Scrap that. I thought they were starting the level in Spanish but what they were really doing was starting a raffle for a few prizes. Again it's all in Spanish so not sure what they're giving away.
