With about 2,000 in the pot and a board reading 
, Jesus Bertoli bet 700 from middle position only to be raised to 1,600 from the player on the button. Bertoli looked a bit dejected as he folded his hand, dropping to 6,000 in the process.
Picking up the action on an 
flop with about 6,800 in the pot, Engelberth Varela was faced with a decision for 6,150 as an opponent was all in. Varela mulled it over for about a minute before opting to fold 
face up.
We're not sure of the specifics, but Oded Minond has been eliminated from the tournaments. He was clinging to a short stack most of the day, and it appears his luck finally ran out.
Engelberth Varela raised to 525 from early position and watched as action folded all the way around to the player in the small blind, who pushed all in to the tune of 3,675. Varela made a reluctant call and the cards were turned up.

Varela seemed relieved that he was racing, but he still needed help after the 
flop. He's been running hot here in the early stages of the tournament, so it was no surprise to see the 
spike on the turn to give him the straight and leave his opponent drawing dead. The inconsequential 
was put out on the turn as Varela collected the pot and sent his opponent to the rail. He is now up to 60,000.
There was about 10,000 in the pot and a board reading 
when we rolled up to Andre Akkari's table. He was in the under-the-gun position and checked to his opponent, who was seat in the hijack. He checked as well and then both players checked the river.
Neither player wanted to show, hoping to catch a glimpse of their opponent's holding, but Akkari was prompted to show his

before tossing his cards to the muck. We imagine his would have been quite the pot had an ace not appeared on the flop.
We're not sure how it happened, but it appears Gaston Catzman has been eliminated from the LAPT-Colombia Main Event. His former seat is empty and void of chips.
