In the small blind, Engelberth Varela reraised all in. After the big blind folded, Kiles called all in for 280,000 holding the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Varela held the {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

The flop, turn and river ran out {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and the ace on the river gave Varela the win. He had Kiles covered and eliminated the former chip leader from the tournament in 15th place. Kiles earned $7,060 for his finish.

Kiles Takes a Big Hit

Action folded to the small blind and Erik von Buxhoeveden limped in. Cassio Kiles raised to 56,000 from the big blind and then von Buxhoeveden reraised all in for 454,000. Kiles made the call with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Von Buxhoeveden held the {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

The flop came down {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and both players picked up a pair. Unfortunately for von Buxhoeveden, Kiles hit the bigger pair on the flop and he was behind. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and now von Buxhoeveden needed just an ace or a deuce on the river to stay alive and double in a big way.

The river completed the board with the {2-Spades} and smacked von Buxhoeveden with trip twos to give him the win. He moved to over 900,000 while Kiles took a big hit and was knocked all the way back to 300,000 in chips.
