Another Double for Lehembre

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

After Lieven Lehembre just doubled up with king-deuce against the pocket fours of Paul Berthet he decided to try it one more time. This time Lehembre got his chips in the middle holding {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Berthet had by far the better hand with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

The flop fell {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Lehembre suddenly had a couple of direct outs. The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Lehembre needed to hit on the river to stay alive.

Berthet called for a ten on the river and he got exactly that when the dealer put down the {10-Spades}. Berthet shipped over another 10,000 to his opponent who suddenly has fifty big blinds in front of him.

Lehembre Doubles up to Stay Alive

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Lieven Lehembre was left with just 4,000 which at this point is just ten big blinds. Lehembre pushed it all in from the cutoff after he saw Paul Berthet from early position raise to 1,000. Berthet called quickly and they opened up.

Lieven Lehembre: {k-Spades}{2-Spades}
Paul Berthet: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Lehembre doubled up to stay alive.

Players Keep Pouring in

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

The tournament started with just 54 players on the clock, but after only three levels the number of entrants has gone up to 122. Still, no eliminations took place and all 122 still have chips in front of them.

Late registration will be open for the first eight levels of the tournament.

Keizer and Ivermee Chop

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

Wessel Keizer, better known under his Twitch nickname 'MPADAM', has played some pots recently and he already took down some of the bigger ones. The last pot he played he had to chop with Jack Ivermee.

The flop was {q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} when Keizer bet 2,000 and Ivermee was the only player who called. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and Keizer fired a bet of 3,000. Ivermee called another time and they saw the {q-Hearts} river complete the board.

Keizer and Ivermee checked and they opened up. Keizer had {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Ivermee had the better ace with {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Fortunately for 'MPADAM' the board had paired and they chopped it all up.

Great Structure

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

The structure of the tournament starts very deep. All players started with a stack of 50,000 with the first level being 100/100. We're almost at the third level of the day and the starting stack is still well over 150 big blinds.

After an hour of play there are still no players eliminated and everybody is taking it easy as we haven't seen many big pots happening.

Ivermee Versus Croaks

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Jack Ivermee won a nice little pot in the second level of the day after out-kicking 'Croaks'. 'Croaks' is a moderator in Veldhuis' Twitch channel and he and Ivermee already knew each other from earlier today.

Ivermee just got the better of 'Croaks' after the player in middle position limped. The player on the button called as well and 'Croaks' called from the small blind. Ivermee checked his option on the big blind and they saw the {8-Spades}{a-Spades}{q-Spades} flop appear on the board.

All four players checked and the turn was the {6-Diamonds}. It checked around to the player on the button and he put in a bet of 1,000. Both 'Croaks' and Ivermee called and the fourth player got out of the hand.

The river was the {k-Clubs} and all three checked again. 'Croaks' had to show first and he opened up {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Ivermee then opened {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} for the better hand and that was enough to take down the pot.

Ivermee one, 'Croaks' zero.
