'Zeeth' Doubles With Quads

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

There was a very jumpy Danish Twitch streamer spotted in the tournament area and the reason was very clear when the cards were all dealt.

Morten 'Zeeth' Ottosen doubled his stack with {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} against the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Constantin Smintanca.

The board read {6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Ottosen had quads. Ottosen managed to double up his stack to 78,000 and that is the biggest his stack has been for today and on Day 1A.

Nobels Eliminates a Short Stack

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Wesley Nobels raised to 4,500 from early position and another player moved all in from middle position for 27,500. Nobels called when the action folded back around to him and he was well ahead.

Nobels played {a-}{q-} and his opponent had {a-Spades}{7-Spades}. The board ran out in favor of Nobels who is now playing 180,000.

Nobels is seated at a table on the other side of the casino. Soufiane Gherbi is seated in the same area and it looks as if he has all the chips. Gherbi has 390,000 in front of him and he is closing on on the 490,000 stack of Day 1A chip leader Moise Alloun.
