Janneke van Veldhoven is one of the first players who is eliminated from Day 1B of the €225 Main Event. She already lost a big chunk of her stack and she lost the remainder of it with pocket kings.
''I got my last 20,000 in really good with pocket kings against jack-deuce and that's it. A deuce on the flop and a deuce on the river.''
Van Veldhoven said she was going to fire another bullet in a bit but she's going to take some time off first.

Multiple members of the Lex Veldhuis community were already in the casino multiple hours before the Main Event started. They were so eager to play that they managed to get a private sit and go running with a buy-in of €25. Lex Veldhuis and Benjamin Spragg also joined the party and the tournament got 18 entries.
The tournament has still eight people in it was that table where suddenly all the noise came from. Eva 'Evaisop' Reberc from OP-Poker sucked out with pocket kings against pocket aces. She managed to spike a king on the flop to double up.
All the players seem to enjoy themselves a lot in this improvised side event.
Ronni Borg was in a pot with Marc Hannesse and Stieven Razab-Sekh and there was already 15,000 in the middle when the ![]()

flop landed on the board. Hannesse checked in the dark before the flop was dealt and Razab-Sekh checked as well. Borg checked as the third player in the hand and they went to the turn.
This time the

Hannesse did show a

Simon Steenstra opened the action with a raise to 600 from late position. Button Robert Verkaar called and so did Jawad Harbal from the big blind.
The flop fell ![]()

and Harbal checked to Steenstra. The initial raiser continued with a bet of 800 and he was raised by Verkaar who made it 2,300. Both Harbal and Steenstra called the bet to see the
turn.
This time all three checked and the
river completed the board. It checked to Verkaar on the button and he fired a bet of 6,000. Harbal took his time and he eventually called. Steenstra sent his cards to the muck and Verkaar showed ![]()

Harbal took down the pot with ![]()

Steenstra is seated next to Ger Kamerling, another active member of the community. The two have been chatting since the start of the tournament and they're both playing with a smile on their face.

Morten 'Zeeth' Ottosen played Day 1A of the Main Event but he busted out of the tournament with only four hands left to play in the day. Today he's back and he just fired another bullet. Ottosen isn't alone this time as his friend Ronni Borg entered the tournament alongside the Twitch streamer.
Ottosen might be a gamer but Borg, on the other hand, knows his way with cards and a bunch of chips in front of him. Borg has over $100,000 in reported tournament cashes and he's looking to add a little bit more to that in the €225 Lex Live Namur Main Event.
