Borg Gets a Shove Through

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

Ronni Borg was in a pot with Marc Hannesse and Stieven Razab-Sekh and there was already 15,000 in the middle when the {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop landed on the board. Hannesse checked in the dark before the flop was dealt and Razab-Sekh checked as well. Borg checked as the third player in the hand and they went to the turn.

This time the {7-Hearts} was dealt and it checked to Borg again. He fired a bet of 10,000 and he was only called by Hannesse. The river was the {6-Hearts} and it checked to Borg for the third time. The Danish player pushed all in for 19,500 but his opponent folded after a minute.

Hannesse did show a {q-Diamonds} to Borg and he was friendly enough to show the {5-Spades}.

A Very Special Side Event

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

Multiple members of the Lex Veldhuis community were already in the casino multiple hours before the Main Event started. They were so eager to play that they managed to get a private sit and go running with a buy-in of €25. Lex Veldhuis and Benjamin Spragg also joined the party and the tournament got 18 entries.

The tournament has still eight people in it was that table where suddenly all the noise came from. Eva 'Evaisop' Reberc from OP-Poker sucked out with pocket kings against pocket aces. She managed to spike a king on the flop to double up.

All the players seem to enjoy themselves a lot in this improvised side event.

Janneke van Veldhoven is one of the first players who is eliminated from Day 1B of the €225 Main Event. She already lost a big chunk of her stack and she lost the remainder of it with pocket kings.

''I got my last 20,000 in really good with pocket kings against jack-deuce and that's it. A deuce on the flop and a deuce on the river.''

Van Veldhoven said she was going to fire another bullet in a bit but she's going to take some time off first.
