Day 1b Started
Day 1A and Day 1A turbo are in the books and players are getting ready for Day 1B of the €225 Main Event at the 2019 Lex Live Namur in Grand Casino de Namur. Day 1A and the turbo version got an impressive 180 entries yesterday and today will probably be even bigger. At the end of the day, it was Frenchman Moise Alloun on top of the leaderboard with a stack of 490,000. Lex Veldhuis, 'Croaks', and Benjamin 'Spraggy' Spragg all made it through to Day 2 of the tournament, but none of them ended the day with more than they started with.
They will play the same twelve 30-minute levels as they did yesterday and all players will start with 50,000 in chips. The registration and reentry period will be open for the first eight levels of the tournament.
''I'm really happy with the turnout. I was happy when there were 80 players registered in the event so 168 on Day 1A is amazing. I expect Day 1B and 1C to be even bigger. If we cross the 800 player mark I would be extremely happy but everything above the 500 is amazing.'' said Veldhuis to PokerNews. He also said that he was expecting about 300 entries to made on Day 1B.
At 10 p.m. local time there will be a turbo version with 15-minute levels. Yesterday's turbo flight attracted 12 players but that number is expected to be much bigger today.
PokerNews will be on the tournament floor to bring live coverage throughout the event.

The community feel of the event is what makes the Lex Live Spring Festival so special. More players are slowly arriving in Namur, Belgium and they're entering the Main Event.
The last one to make an appearance is Markus Borel. Borel is known in the community as 'l4zy_pigeon' and he just took his seat in the Main Event.
Morten 'Zeeth' Ottosen busted out of the tournament on Day 1A only a mere four hands before the players started bagging. Ottosen took his seat at the bar right now but he told PokerNews that he is gonna jump in this flight very shortly.

Tijmen Westeneng started the tournament by flopping two flushes where he managed to get some value. The Dutch player traveled to Namur with his friend Simon 'Mzzlaar' Steenstra, a very active member of Lex Veldhuis' community.
Westeneng is off to a great start but there is still a long way to go.

Morten 'Zeeth' Ottosen played Day 1A of the Main Event but he busted out of the tournament with only four hands left to play in the day. Today he's back and he just fired another bullet. Ottosen isn't alone this time as his friend Ronni Borg entered the tournament alongside the Twitch streamer.
Ottosen might be a gamer but Borg, on the other hand, knows his way with cards and a bunch of chips in front of him. Borg has over $100,000 in reported tournament cashes and he's looking to add a little bit more to that in the €225 Lex Live Namur Main Event.

Simon Steenstra opened the action with a raise to 600 from late position. Button Robert Verkaar called and so did Jawad Harbal from the big blind.
The flop fell and Harbal checked to Steenstra. The initial raiser continued with a bet of 800 and he was raised by Verkaar who made it 2,300. Both Harbal and Steenstra called the bet to see the turn.
This time all three checked and the river completed the board. It checked to Verkaar on the button and he fired a bet of 6,000. Harbal took his time and he eventually called. Steenstra sent his cards to the muck and Verkaar showed for a busted straight draw.
Harbal took down the pot with .
Steenstra is seated next to Ger Kamerling, another active member of the community. The two have been chatting since the start of the tournament and they're both playing with a smile on their face.
