The river was the 4♣. Hackenberg checked and Escriba moved all in for 15,500 with a very similar stack size to his opponent. Hackenberg looked visibly distressed but then put his chips in the middle to make the call.
Escriba quickly flipped over 8♦8♠ for a set of eights. Hackenberg turned A♥Q♥ for ace high, a hero call gone wrong. He left the table and Escriba scooped a double up.

"I don't understand," said Valen
"Play and you'll understand," laughed Bastos as the pair went into a verbal back and forth in Spanish. Valen eventually found the fold and showed pocket kings. Bastos flipped over the 5♣, then showed courtesy by showing an ace for aces full.
