$4 Million Guaranteed MicroMillions Returns to PokerStars

Online poker's most prestigious low-stakes tournament series is returning to PokerStars from July and bringing with it $4 million in guaranteed prize pools. The 2024 edition of the ever-popular MicroMillions sees 208 affordable events take place between July 7-21 in what will be a fortnight of incredible poker action.

Where many poker tournament festivals focus on high-stakes events, often with tournaments commanding four, five, or six-figure buy-ins, the MicroMillions events start from only $1.10 and top out at a still affordable $55.

However, just because MicroMillions tournaments don't cost the earth to enter doesn't mean there isn't plenty of money to play for. The smallest guaranteed prize pool offered during the series is $1,500, and there are five events with six-figure guarantees, including the $500,000 guaranteed MicroMillions Main Event.

Gonzalez showed J♦10♥ for a pair of jacks and Khodr flipped over J♥7♣ for two pair. The river came the J♣ to give Gonzalez trips and Khodr a full house. He won the pot and Gonzalez was sent to the exit.

Ivan Tevar Montoya raised to 500 from under the gun and picked up two callers before Viet Anh Nguyen three-bet to 2,000. Montoya called and so did one other player.

The flop came 2♣6♥7♥. Action checked to Nguyen, who made it 4,000 to go. Only Montoya made the call. The turn was the 8♠. Montoya checked and Nguyen pushed all in for 8,300, less than a pot sized bet.

Montoya went into the tank before making the call. Nguyen had J♣10♥ for a bluff with a backdoor straight draw. Montoya turned over 6♣4♣ for a pair of sixes and also had backdoor outs.

The river came the 5♦, which completed Montoya's straight. He won the pot and Nguyen was eliminated.

The river was the 5♥. Biegajlo checked for a third time and Ursino bet 2,000. Biegajlo folded and Ursino won the pot.

Ivanov was among the final players in Day 1b and was close to bagging before losing out during the final level of play. This will be his final shot at the Main Event.
