Following an under the gun raise to 300, Moritz Bodeker called on the button and Glenn Owen Davies called in the big blind.
The flop came 9♥9♦Q♦. Action checked to Bodeker, who made it 500 to go. The original raiser folded and Davies made the call. Both players checked it back on the 4♣ turn.
The river was the 10♠. Davies checked, Bodeker bet 1,200 and Davies called. Bodeker mucked his hand to concede the pot, suggesting that he was bluffing the river. Davies also mucked and scooped the pot.
Action was on the river on a board of 6♥A♣J♣8♦A♠. Tal Rofe led for 1,700 and Andreas Papadopoulos raised it up to 5,700. Rofe looked distressed and expressed that he didn't know what to do, then made the call.
Papadopoulos showed A♥Q♥ for trip aces to win the hand and Rofe mucked. A few moments later, Rofe was seen leaving the tournament area as one of the early bustouts on Day 1c.
