Lucky River for Tadini

Level 11 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Anas Tadini
Anas Tadini

Anas Tadini, down to 23,800 chips left, open-shoved under the gun and got a call from Hafid Kinany Alaoui to create the following showdown:

Anas Tadini: {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Hafid Kinany Alaoui: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Tadini had the dominated hand and started to stand up from his chair when the board first fell {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

"Not a nine!" said tadini, already ready to leave the table.

The {2-Spades} bricked on the turn but a {9-Spades} showed up on the river, giving the straight to Tadini who came back to his chair.

Goasdoue Makes the Right Call on Grobocopatel

Level 11 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Benoit Grobocopatel
Benoit Grobocopatel

Alan Goasdoue opened and found calls with Benoir Grobocopatel and Smain Mamouni in the big blind.

The flop revealed {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and it checked to Grobocopatel who bet 4,000. Only Goasdoue stayed interested and called. The duo checked on the {5-Diamonds} turn.

A {9-Diamonds} completed the board and Goasdoue only bet 2,000. Grobocopatel tanked for some time before raising it to 16,000. After a minute, Goasdoue eventually called.

"Good call" said Grobocopatel, showing {j-Spades}{10-Spades} for the middle pair. Goasdoue tabled {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for two pair and grabbed the pot.

Alaoui Busts Habbad in Massive Three-Way Pot

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Hafid Kinany Alaoui

Hafid Kinany Alaoui started the action by raising before Thierry Gogniat three-bet to 11,000 in late position. Ali Habbad shoved in the big blind for 39,800 and after some thinking, both his opponents called.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Alaoui bet 30,000, which was enough to get a fold from Gogniat and the two remaining players tabled their cards:

Ali Habbad: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}
Hafid Kinany Alaoui: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Habbad was in desperate shape for a triple up, and couldn't find any help on the {9-Diamonds} turn and {j-Clubs} river to be eliminated from the event while the big pot was sent to Alaoui.

Tadini Joins the Rail

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a heads-up pot, all the chips went in the middle on the flop {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Diamonds} between Anas Tadini and Thierry Gogniat. The latter bet 11,000 and called the all-in raise from Tadini for a stack around 50,000:

Anas Tadini: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Thierry Gogniat: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Tadini was in good shape to double with two pair, but teh rest of the board broughjt {8-Hearts}{10-Spades} to give a straight to Gogniat and eliminate the Casino de Marrakech regular from the event.
