Piotrowski Takes from de Meulder

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

On the {3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} turn, Przemyslaw Piotrowski bet 4,700 after the check of Matthias de Meulder and the Belgian called before the {4-Hearts} hit on the river. De Meulder once again checked and then sighed when his opponent had fired 7,700. The Belgian eventually tossed in a T-10,000 chip for the call and was met with the bad news, Piotrowski flipped over {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} for quads to see de Meulder muck a jack-high flush.

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Gleb Kovtunov had won a big pot against Vlado Banicevic early on but since the tides have changed a lot and the Ukrainian is below his opponent in chips. Jorryt van Hoof also lost half of his stack in the meanwhile and was taking a short break away from the table when last checked upon.

A Table of High Rollers

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

The previous area of the High Roller tournament has one single table running and that belongs to the Main Event. Quite a few of the previous High Rollers from today, who all busted already, are there though and EPT Malta champion Jean Montury got moved over.

It was the Frenchman who won a bigger pot with pocket aces against Faraz Jaka to bump up his stack.

Ramazan Among First Seat Open

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Ramazan Ramazan was left with no chips after calling all in on the river of a {6-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} board and mucked his hole cards. Ad Schaap had flipped over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a full house and that was better than what Ramazan had, who headed to the rail. The screens currently show 81 out of 85 players remaining.

Boeken Backdoors Better Straight

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

On the four-way flop of {3-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Noah Boeken and two other players invested 1,200 chips before the 2013 champion fired the {K-Clubs} turn for 4,000. Only his table neighbor called and then checked the {J-Spades} river. Boeken tanked for a long time and checked behind with the {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, which upset his opponent from one seat over who had flopped a straight with the {4-}{5-}.

Dominic van Embden
Dominic van Embden

Dominic van Embden had lost half of his stack early on and then was down all the way to just 11,000 chips. He three-bet with pocket kings and was called to see a flop of {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. The continuation bet of the Dutchman was raised and he got it in against the {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} of his opponent. The turn was a blank but the {10-Clubs} on the river completed a flush for the other player in the hand.
