Zisimopoulos Takes from Paris

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Bryan Paris was the initial raiser and Georgios Zisimopoulos defended his big blind to check-call the {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop for 33,000. On the {2-Spades} turn, Zisimopoulos checked and Paris fired a second barrel worth 53,000. The Greek check-raised to 140,000 and that shut down all further action.

De Korver Mad at Himself

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

"Pieter Pieter Pieter", the Dutchman said to himself after missing out on value on the river of a board {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. He had flopped a straight with {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and got some value from Johnny Hansen with {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} but it could have been more.

Timothy Adams shoved once to claim the blinds and antes.

Brummelhuis Folds the Turn

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

[Removed:172] raised from the button and called a three-bet by Michiel Brummelhuis in the big blind to see the flop of {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. Both players checked and Brummelhuis check-folded the {10-Diamonds} turn to a bet of 48,000 by Kramer.

Smaller Pots

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The action on the outer table has slowed down significantly as of lately. Bryan Paris gave up a hand on the river and then [Removed:172] raised to 21,000. Joep van den Bijgaart called in the cutoff and they checked down the flop {5-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades} and the {5-Spades} turn. Kramer bet the {K-Clubs} river for 28,000 and the Dutchman folded.

Just one hand later, van den Bijgaart got the chips back though. He raised to 22,000 and Chris Downling defended his big blind, quickly folding to a continuation bet on the {6-Spades}{J-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop.

Guldenaar Jams the Flop

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Tobias Peters lost some more chips, getting shoved on by Kees van Brugge just a few minutes ago. And now he got into a three-way pot with van Brugge as well as Marco Guldenaar. The latter then shoved the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and both his opponents folded.

PokerNews Podcast Episode #344: Who Was the Biggest Winner from the WSOP Main Event Final Table?

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Rich Ryan and Donnie Peters discussed the big winners from the 2015 WSOP Main Event on last week's podcast, but neglected to mention the biggest winner, the U.S. Government. They break down some of the massive tax payments the IRS will receive from the November Niners, and discuss the online gaming bill moving swiftly through the Pennsylvania State Legislature.
