Daniel Thaller Eliminated in 20th Place ($30,000)

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Daniel Thaller
Daniel Thaller

On the main feature table, Gabriel Akiki bet 500,000 on a flop of {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts} before Daniel Thaller shoved all in for 2,500,000. Akiki called with {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight draw, while Thaller had {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and needed to hold to survive.

The {6-Clubs} on the turn also gave Akiki a flush draw, and he spiked the {10-Clubs} on the river to bust Thaller in 20th place.

"Yes. I love this game," he yelled as he shot up from his seat.

The flop read {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and the pot had about 1,000,000 in it. From the small blind, Manuel Fritz bet 850,000. Rachid Amamou raised all in for 2,440,000 from the hijack. Fritz got a count and thought for a while before he called.

Amamou tabled the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} which Fritz had beat with the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} top pair. The turn was the {7-Hearts} and the river the {7-Spades} to end the day for Amamou as he shook the hands of everyone at the table.

Gofman Calls His Way to Decimation

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Action arrived on the river in the midst of the all in at the adjacent table as a big decision was in progress. The pot had about 1,450,000 in it and the board read {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

Yiannis Liperis had moved all in for what was counted to be 3,280,000 from the big blind while Alexander Gofman was in the small blind and in the tank. He used up multiple time bank cards before ultimately calling.

Liperis tabled the {a-Clubs}{7-Spades} for two pair and Gofman's defeated {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} hand was exposed because of the all in situation as he cut away almost all of his stack to his left.

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Kyle Maguire raised to 325,000 from the cutoff and was called by Nuri Hadioglu in the small blind.

Both players checked down to the river on a board of {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, when Hadioglu led out for 600,000.

Maguire came back with a raise to 2,000,000 and Hadioglu quickly mucked.

Cajelais Bets Bet With Top Pair But is Beaten

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The board read {6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} on the turn. Erik Cajelais bet 775,000 from the big blind and Nuri Hadioglu called from the button to grow the pot to about 2,400,000.

The river came the {a-Clubs}. Cajelais kept up the pressure and stuck out a big bet of 2,400,000. Hadioglu used a time bank before calling after close to a minute.

Cajelais confidently tabled the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for top pair but saw the bad news as Hadioglu showed the {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} set. Cajelais winced as he cut away the large portion of his stack and sent it across the table.

Alexander Gofman

Alexander Gofman had managed to double up his extreme short stack but wouldn't last much longer after that.

Oleg Netaliev raised to 320,000 from the cutoff before Hannes Jeschka reraised to 950,000 on the button. Gofman called all in for 300,000 in the big blind and Netaliev folded.

Alexander Gofman: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Hannes Jeschka: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, no help to Gofman who was eliminated in 18th place.

Warburton Gets Massive Double

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Steven Warburton
Steven Warburton

Kyle Maguire raised to 400,000 from the button before Steven Warburton reraised to 1,575,000 in the small blind. Maguire then shoved all in and Warburton called for his last 6,200,000.

Steven Warburton: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Kyle Maguire: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

It was a classic flip with more than 12,000,000 and the tournament chip lead at stake, and Maguire stayed in front on the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop.

The {k-Hearts} on the turn shot Warburton into the lead, and the {4-Hearts} was safe for him to secure the double up.
