Uhara Has Nouira Nearly Drawing Dead

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Maher Nouira raised to 5,000 preflop before Motokatsu Uhara moved all in for 27,000. Action folded back to Nouira, who called to put Uhara at risk.

Motokatsu Uhara: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Maher Nouira: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Uhara needed to win the coin flip to survive and suddenly became a big favorite when the {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop gave him a set. Left drawing to runner-runner, Nouira didn't hit any miracles on the {3-Clubs} turn or {q-Spades} river as Uhara doubled up.

Zakharov Doubles Thru Tuna

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With around 60,000 already in the middle, Yuriy Zakharov shoved for his last 105,000 from the hijack on a board of {3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Akin Tuna, in early position, went into the tank for several minutes before calling with {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a pair of tens and a flush draw. Zakharov turned over {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for the turned pair of queens and needed to hold to survive.

The river came the {8-Clubs} and Zakharov's pair held up to earn him a double, while Tuna handed over most of his stack.

Ibrahim Hits Two Pair, Then Flops a Set

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Eduard Barsegian bet 4,500 from middle position on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} before Charbel Ibrahim raised from the big blind to 15,000.

Barsegian called and both players checked the {10-Diamonds} turn. The river came the {3-Clubs} and Ibrahim bet 12,000. Barsegian tanked for several minutes before throwing in a call.

"Two pair," Ibrahim said as he showed {10-Clubs}{6-Spades} which was good enough to win the pot.

Ibrahim was still stacking his chips when, from the small blind, he called a 3,500 raise by Timur Margolin on the button the next hand.

The flop came {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Margolin bet 7,500. Ibrahim called to see the {6-Clubs} turn, when Margolin bet another 17,500.

Ibrahim moved all in and Margolin committed his last 80,000, showing {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Ibrahim, though, turned over {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} for the flopped set. The river came the {k-Hearts} and Ibrahim took another big pot and busted Margolin.

Action came in on the turn as the board read {7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}. From the hijack Alexandre Vuilleumier bet 23,000. Orhan Ates called in the big blind.

The river came the {q-Diamonds}. Vuilleumier moved all in which was for close to about 70,000. Ates thought about it for a long while before sliding a stack forward for the call.

Farrell Runs Into Cubukcu's Straight

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Heads-up on a board of {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, Niall Farrell was all in for his last 20,500 from the hijack and up against Cagdas Can Cubukcu in the cutoff.

Farrell showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, but Cubukcu had flopped the nuts with {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

"Alright," Farrell said as he tossed his tens back to the dealer and got up from his seat. The {q-Diamonds} on the river secured the knockout for Cubukcu.

"It wasn't meant to be," a tablemate said to Farrell as he made his exit.
