Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Yulian Bogdanov
Yulian Bogdanov

Alexander Zubov was mid-tank on the river as the board read {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}. He was facing a decision for his tournament life from the hijack as big stack Yulian Bogdanov had jammed all in from the small blind.

The pot had about 75,000 in it and Zubov thought for close to a minute longer before he folded and sent Bogdanov another addition to his stack.

Papazian Picks Off Urbanovich

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Steve O'Dwyer bet 3,700 from the cutoff on a flop of {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and was called by Dzmitry Urbanovich and Alexandru Papazian.

All three players checked the {k-Diamonds} on the turn before the {4-Hearts} fell on the river. Papazian led out for 5,500 and O'Dwyer quickly folded.

Urbanovich, though, put in a raise to 28,000. Papazian tanked for a moment before putting in the chips to call. Urbanovich turned over two eights, while Papazian showed down {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} to take the pot.

Ducks Hold Up For Plesuv

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

There was a pot of around 45,000 resting in the middle on a board of {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Carl Murr and Pavel Plesuv had checked the turn and they both checked the river also.

Murr showed the {a-}{k-} but that was no good as Plesuv had the {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} as the small pair held up throughout the hand to send him the pot.

Warburton Spikes the River to Bust Raffoul

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Edgard Raffoul bet 4,800 on a flop of {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts} and was called by Boris Kolev in the cutoff. Steven Warburton, on the button, then raised to 17,500 and only Raffoul called.

The turn came the {7-Clubs} and Raffoul checked over to Warburton, who announced he was all in. Raffoul tanked for several minutes, counting down his stack and resting his head on the rail before splashing his last 40,000 in the middle.

Warburton turned over {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a pair of sevens to go with straight and flush draws, while Raffoul had {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and needed to hold on to survive.

The river came the {9-Diamonds}, improving Warburton to two pair, and Raffoul could only shrug before making a swift exit from the tournament area.

Livshitz this time fired out 35,000 and Isaak tanked for a moment before calling. Livshitz showed {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a full house, eights full of aces, and Isaak flashed the {a-Hearts} before mucking.
