Yurasov Takes Out Two

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was retold to PokerNews. Dmitry Yurasov had {a-}{a-} in the big blind and was up against {q-}{q-} and {a-}{j-} in a three-way preflop all in.

The board would hold for the aces to knock out two players and put Yurasov in contention for the chip lead late on Day 1b.

Jaka Scores Double Knockout

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Faraz Jaka
Faraz Jaka

Faraz Jaka raised to 5,000 and was called by Onur Ozgur in the cutoff. From the button, Simon Trumper shoved for 45,000. Jaka reshoved for 160,000, and Ozgur snap-called.

Simon Trumper: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Onur Ozgur: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Faraz Jaka: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

"I'm drawing dead," Trumper said when the cards were revealed. Jaka, filming the action with his phone, jumped into the lead on the {4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop with a pair of queens.

The {6-Hearts} came on the turn, followed by the {a-Hearts} on the river to give Jaka two pair. Trumper was eliminated, while the stacks were counted down and Jaka had Ozgur covered. Ozgur asked the dealer to wait taking in the cards while he snapped a picture before joining Trumper on the rail.

Yurasov Gets Call With Full House

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A few hands after Sergey Bobrik had doubled up with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} vs {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} when the board ran out {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}, he was involved in another big hand and facing a big river decision.

The board read {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and there was a pot of about 85,000 in the middle. Dmitry Yurasov moved all in for about 93,000 to but Bobrik to the test.

Bobrik considered it for over a minute before calling.

Yurasov tabled the {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for the full house for the winner. Bobrik shook his head and showed the {k-}{k-} for pocket kings again, this time unable to get him the victory.

Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Manig Loeser and Qiong Hu built a pot of around 25,000 on the {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop when both players checked.

The turn came the {j-Clubs} and Hu bet 10,000 from the hijack. Loeser, in early position, came back with an all-in shove for 52,000 and Hu called after some deliberation.

Manig Loeser: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Qiong Hu: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Hu looked away from the table in frustration after seeing he was already drawing dead to Loeser's set of fours. The meaningless river came the {7-Clubs} and Loeser doubled up.

Warburton Keeps Climbing, Shoves the River in Lengthy Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Steven Warburton raised to 4,000 from the cutoff before Alexander Zubov reraised to 15,000 in the small blind. Warburton called to see the {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop.

Zubov checked over to Warburton, who bet 18,000. Zubov tanked for about two minutes before calling as the {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

He again checked and Warburton bet 12,500 this time. Zubov went into the tank once more, taking several minutes before committing the chips.

The river came the {10-Hearts} and Zubov checked for a third time. Warburton immediately grabbed a tower of blue 5,000 chips and shoved them in the middle, putting Zubov all in for around 40,000. Zubov tanked some more, taking another few minutes before sliding his cards into the muck.
