Samaha Gives Up Against Hu

Samaha called and they saw the turn of {a-Spades}. Hu slowed down and checked, and Samaha bet out 15,200. Hu called to see the {7-Spades} river and checked once more.

Samaha, resting his head on his shoulder, paused for a moment before checking behind. Hu turned over {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for two pair, aces and sevens, and Samaha mucked to take a small hit to his stack.

Macesovic Cracks Aces

Three players were in a hand on the flop which read {j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Gabi Livshitz bet 6,500 from the big blind. Irena Macesovic called under the gun and the small blind called as well.

The turn was the {q-Spades}. Macesovic bet 12,500. The small blind got out of the way and Livshitz called.

The river came the {4-Spades}. Both players checked quickly. Livshitz tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} but his aces were cracked by the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Macesovic as she showed her hand had raked in the pot.

Alahwal Gives Most of It Back

George Alahwal, who doubled up off the since departed Afshin Afsharorumieh earlier in the day, bet 3,500 from the hijack on a flop of {9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and was called by a player in the cutoff.

Maximiliano Gallardo, who took Afsharorumieh's old seat, then raised to 15,000 and only Alahwal called. The turn came the {k-Clubs} and Gallardo bet another 30,000.

Alahwal snap-called as the {6-Clubs} fell on the river. Gallardo shoved all in for 39,800 and Alahwal didn't take too long before committing the chips.

Gallardo showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the flopped straight and Alahwal was forced to show {j-Clubs}{8-Spades} for two pair before handing over most of his once-big stack.
