Top Set Fills Up For Kahkmazov

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action sprung into life on a flop of {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. From the button, Nadar Kahkmazov bet 6,000. Iakov Onuchin raised to 16,500 in the big blind. Vlad Darie three-bet to 46,500 in early position. Kahkmazov then moved all in and Onuchin got out of the way.

Kahkmazon tabled top set with the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} which would have to hold against the {a-Spades}{7-Spades} nut flush draw of Darie.

The turn immediately sewed it up for Kahkmazov as the {2-Clubs} paired the board to secure the double as the {5-Clubs} filled out the river.

Marchington Folds to Nemtcov, Isn't Happy About It

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nick Marchington bet 11,500 on a board of {4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Hearts} and was called by Aleksandr Nemtcov in the cutoff.

The river came the {3-Hearts} and Marchington quickly checked. "Check," Nemtcov said as Marchington prepared to show his hand.

Nemtcov then claimed he was just asking Marchington if he had checked, then threw out a bet of 5,000. Marchington snap-folded.

"That feels like a really huge angle," Marchington said.

Farrell Can't Resist Calling

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The board read {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} on the river. Niall Farrell was under the gun and bet 7,500 into a pot of 13,000. Dmitry Gromov was in the cutoff and raised to 25,000.

Farrell thought for a long while before he put in the chip for the call.

Gromov showed the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for broadway as Farrell gave a bemused smile and said that he had had king-queen.

Wellenbach Leaves Margolin Puzzled

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {q-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, Scott Wellenbach bet 10,000 from the hijack and was called by Timur Margolin in the cutoff.

The turn came the {10-Spades} and Wellenbach shoved for his last 31,000.

"I don't know what to do," Margolin said as he went into the tank for several minutes. He eventually slid his cards into the muck as Wellenbach took in the pot.

"You can never be too careful," Margolin added after the hand.

"I had a pretty good hand," Wellenbach offered.

Razavi Gets Away Cheap

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With around 30,000 in the middle on a board of {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, Melika Razavi bet 18,000 from the button and was called by small blind Alexey Badulin.

The river came the {3-Hearts} and Badulin checked over to Razavi, who checked behind. Badulin turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the nut flush and Razavi showed {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a straight before mucking.

"Nice check, huh," Razavi said as Badulin took in the early pot.
