Wael Sarkis

Action was on the turn as the board read {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Wael Sarkis bet 155,000 into a pot of about 205,000 from the button. Recep Aydemir was in the hijack and had a decision to make.

Sarkis started to talk it out as Aydemir tanked. "You all can go take a break" he said to his table. "I know what will happen. he will call and then I go all in on the river and he will take another 20 minutes".

The rest of the table seemed to be amused by Sarkis and Aydemir's back and forth as the two talked and played loose with discussing the content of their hands.

"What is your instinct" asked Sarkis. "I want to call" replied Aydemir. "Then call!" Sarkis shot back.

Aydemir continued to tank for several more minutes as onlookers started to watch the hand and tablemates started to comment on the hand and what was going on.

Finally, after a tank of about a full seven minutes, the clock was called. The floor counted it down and the hand was declared dead.

"For the media" said Sarkis and showed the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for nothing. Aydemir claimed to have folded king high as he regretted the fold and watched as the chips went over to Sarkis.

A massive pot of around 400,000 developed on a {2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop between Christopher Frank and Thomas Pearn.

The turn came the {j-Hearts} and both players slowed down and checked. On the {5-Spades} river, Frank led out for 260,000 and sent Pearn deep into the tank.

Several minutes went by as Pearn cut the chips from his stack while Frank continued to rest his head on the table.
