Skhirtladze Runs Into Kings

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Tamazi Skhirtladze jammed his last 585,000 from the big blind and was up against Alexander Gofman in the cutoff.

Tamazi Skhirtladze: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Alexander Gofman: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Gofman's kings stayed in front to bust Skhirtladze.

"I see your range is strong from that position," a tablemate said to Gofman after Skhirtladze had made his exit.

"My range is strong from any position. Just try me," Gofman joked.

Lipp Jams Into Lazzaretto

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded to Matthias Lipp in the small blind and he jammed for 750,000. Filippo Lazzaretto called in the big blind to put him at risk.

Matthias Lipp: {10-Spades}{7-Spades}
Filippo Lazzaretto: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop gave Lazzaretto a set but Lipp a straight draw. "I've got outs," Lipp said, but he didn't hit any of them on the {5-Clubs} turn or {2-Clubs} river and was sent to the rail.

Tatli Picks Off a Bluff

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In a blind on blind battle, Hakan Tatli bet 150,000 on a board of {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{j-Spades} and Zolbayar Batbold raised from the small blind to 330,000.

Tatli called as the {7-Diamonds} fell on the river. Batbold bet another 500,000 and Tatli quickly slammed in a tower of chips to call.

Batbold turned over {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a bluff, while Tatli had {j-Clubs}{2-Spades} for jacks and nines to take the pot.

Aslanli Undone By Bad Luck

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Dawid Smolka was all in for 525,000 from the hijack. Tobias Anttila called on the button and Rafael Aslanli also called on the button.

Aslanli and Anttila both checked the {5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop and the {k-Spades} turn. The river came the {10-Spades}. Aslanli jammed all in and Anttila folded to leave himself just one big blind.

Smolka tabled the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for the full house which Aslanli laughed at as he showed his beaten {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} straight while Smolka gathered in the triple up.

The next hand Aslanli jammed all in preflop for about 550,000 and was called by Alexander Gofman.

Aslanli had the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and was dominating the {a-Hearts}{5-Spades} of Gofman. He called for no five as the flop came {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades}. The turn was the {j-Clubs} and lo and behold the {5-Diamonds} came on the river to bust Aslanli as he could only laugh at his luck as he walked to the payouts.

Cajelais Leaves Meran With Crumbs

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Erik Cajelais
Erik Cajelais

Erik Cajelais bet 100,000 on a flop of {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} before Alberto Meran raised to 400,000 in the big blind.

Cajelais used a time bank before he called. The turn came the {q-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The {7-Spades} fell on the river and Meran fired out 800,000. Cajelais quickly announced he was all in for 1,300,000 and Meran went into the tank for a minute before he called.

Cajelais turned over {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for the flopped full house and Meran flashed the {q-Clubs} before he mucked. Meran thought he was eliminated and got up to leave, but a recount showed he still had 30,000 behind.
